Our skilled and experienced optometrists are dedicated to providing high-quality, professional eye care for patients in Leechburg, Apollo, Vandergrift, Lower Burrell, and surrounding areas.
Dr. Duppstadt is a second-generation optometrist, following in his father's footsteps, who has been providing comprehensive eye care to the patients in the Kiski Valley for 60 years. He is a veteran of World War II, where he served as a fighter pilot. He has been a member of the Leechburg Rotary Club for 59 years and served as its president. He is a past member of the Kiski Area School Board and is an advisor to the New Kensington branch of Penn State.
He has been a pioneer in the field of contact lens manufacturing and design. He holds patents on a bifocal contact lens design and also for a tool to repair spring hinges on eyeglass frames. Dr. Duppstadt has championed many community and civic causes, such as the local ambulance service and recycling center.
It's Dr. Duppstadt's vast knowledge and experience that is invaluable in fitting bifocal and specialty contact lenses as well as diagnosing and treating all other eye care needs. Dr. Duppstadt and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 59 years and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
Dr. Duppstadt is a third generation optometrist who received his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, graduating with honors in 1975. In addition to being certified by the Pennsylvania Board of Optometry in the treatment of ocular disease and glaucoma, Dr. Duppstadt has extensive experience fitting bifocal, astigmatism, and other specialty contact lenses. Dr. Duppstadt and his wife, Margaret, have been married for 15 years and have one son.
Dr. Natalie Noble, originally from Allegheny Township PA, graduated from Kiski Area High School in 2002, Allegheny College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 2006, and The New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2010. She is a 4th generation optometrist and continues to practice with her uncle and grandfather, Doctors Arthur G. Duppstadt and Arthur O. Duppstadt, in Leechburg. Dr. Noble is a medical optometrist and enjoys treating patients of all ages. She has a particular interest in pediatrics and corneal disease. When not in the office Dr. Noble can be found on skis at high speeds at Seven Springs, playing beach volleyball in the summer (yes even in Pittsburgh!) and looking forward to the first day of trout season each year.
