Digital Fundus Camera Takes digital pictures of the inside of the eye and stores them on the computer. This instrument is essential for documenting changes in the eye due to glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
Pachymeter Provides ultrasound measurement of the corneal thickness. This is extremely useful in glaucoma management.
HRT Scanning laser that images the retina. One of the newest instruments used to evaluate changes in the optic nerve due to glaucoma.
GDX Another scanning laser that images the optic nerve in a different way and assesses the likelihood of the nerve being glaucomatous.
OCT Optical Coherence Tomography: Scanning laser of the optic nerve, retina, and anterior segment for early detection of ocular disease.
